Peggy Alborn
Peggy Alborn began creating as a child, making clothing by age 12, and dabbling in various other medias throughout her life including stamping, encaustic wax collage, and soldering. She operated a faux finishing business for four years, finding great pleasure in refinishing cabinetry. Currently she is creating one-of-a-kind embellished camis and t-shirts, lampshades, and collaged charms and ornaments. Peggy is a full time teacher in Lee County, with two daughters in college - a grad student in opera studies at The Boston Conservatory and a junior at USF
Zdenka Fiala
Zdenka Fiala creates amazing jewelry. Her contemporary design appeals to creative, self-confident woman of today. Her jewelry is lead free and skin friendly, earrings and necklaces are sterling silver plated. Peace by Piece will present selection of her stained glass and beads jewelry.Currently, Zdenka's jewelry can be seen at the Alliance for the Arts in Fort. Myers."
Susan McDonald
Susan McDonald looks to her surroundings to serve as inspiration for her pieces. Both organic and geometric lines especially catch her interest, such as an unfurled tendril on a stem or the pleasing pattern of texture on the bark of a native tree. In the wearable art she creates, she references the theme of natural adornment through simple and fluid design elements.
Stacey Brown
Stacey's original photography will be featured in a new way through transfer techniques, collage and acrylics. Additional original artwork through encaustic design will also debut at this Peace by Piece.
Sara Leone
Sara Leone grew up with a passion for all things old…..drawn to nostalgia of decades past. Sara has successfully owned and operated a thrift store in Bonita Springs and contributed to the News Press with her own column “Finders Keepers”. Now mom to a 9 year old daughter and Corporate America refugee, Sara is busy making art again. LIFE recycled…..
Pat Collins
Pat Collins creates mixed media art featuring her many stenciled images. She draws inspiration from a variety of sources - roadside billboards & signs, Celtic mythology, current events, pop culture - whatever triggers her imagination. She developed “Handcuts,” which she calls “unique art objects & offbeat artifacts" to apply her images to functional art. Peace by Piece will showcase glassware and glass objects, among them wine glasses and ornaments etched with images by the artist. T-shirts and earrings are also available
Claudia Goode
Claudia Goode is a mostly self-taught mixed media artist, who has been creating art all her life. From hand-painted clothing to mixed media collages, creating things has always been a very important and constant desire in her life. Art infused with sensitivity and mysticism moves her soul.
